The SAE foundation supports early access to equitable STEM education in order to raise awareness and interest in the STEM field. They bring together the children, families, educators as well as organizations to provide access to crucial STEM learning experiences for those that need it the most. SAE foundation describes their mission as sparking curiosity and inspire students in order to create a world where STEM education can nourish minds and awaken dreams. Aligned with Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards, as well as CSTA and ISTE, AWIM (A World In Motion) offers engaging, real-world STEM challenges developed around AWIM’s Engineering Design Experience™ where students set real world goals, design, build, test, and present a solution/product.
Funds raised by the SAE Foundation support SAE International’s award-winning A World In Motion® (AWIM) STEM education program. They have been able to reach over 6 million students and engage over 30,000 industry volunteers in classrooms across the globe with their proven STEM curriculum.
